Design Features
With its well-dressed façade and easily functional floor plan, this project consists of 25 individual bedrooms with self-containing customised built-in wardrobes and spacious room size. Each room also has a fully private bathroom with all the modern fixtures and fittings to assist with the elderly patients.
The structure includes a wide main corridor that stretches for the entire length of the building, and a number of service rooms such as, a fully self-contained laundry, dirty utility, store room, handwash stations and an extensive sitting/lounge room with all the home comforts and share tea station. Also keeping in with the flow of the main existing structure, each section of the new addition is linked with fully encased pathways and fully automated doors allowing for safe and secure passage between wards.
